Australian National Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) Registry
The Australian National Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Registry (ANCJDR) was established in October 1993 in response to the recognition of four probable Australian human pituitary hormone related CJD deaths.
The Biorepository supports the work of large multidisciplinary genetic epidemiological research studies and is housed within the southey Research Laboratory in the Department of Pathology.
The Laboratory acts as a service facility within the Department, to meet the teaching and research needs of staff and students, as well as providing occasional work for sources external to the University.
